THE BRIEF
Atlantic Records, NY brought RAD in to build the full visual world around Kingfishr's debut album Halcyon ahead of its release. The scope was broad from the start - we delivered an album trailer, the album cover itself, a full press shot package, social cutdowns, and a suite of lyrics videos ready to deploy across the campaign. We then travelled to the bands farm in rural Ireland to shoot an intimate acoustic session across six album tracks, capturing the world the record came from. On their return from a US tour, we closed the campaign out by documenting their homecoming show at Fairview Park, Dublin with expansive multicam coverage.
THE RESULT
Halcyon debuted at number 1 in Ireland and number 5 in the UK midweeks, eventually going 4x Platinum in Ireland. Across the visual assets RAD delivered, the campaign accumulated;
- 3,874,000 YouTube views
- 1,771,000 Instagram Reels views
- 1,326,700 TikTok views.
For a debut album from an Irish band, those are landmark numbers - and the farm acoustic sessions became some of the most-shared content of the campaign.
